But objects in a photograph sit at different distances from the camera, and each distance means a different amount of &lt;a href=&#34;https://scub.ai/docs/color-science/underwater-light/#exponential-decay-wavelength-by-wavelength&#34;&gt;color loss&lt;/a&gt;. Correcting accurately requires knowing how far each part of the scene is.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
